Lynn, Thank you for the kind words! It's nice to see folks are still reading this nearly a year later.

Jean & Bill, It's wonderful to hear that you see Dad daily. I do too. You see I have his photo sitting in my den next to my PC monitor. I laugh often thinking about him as well. He sure had a cool sense of humor. And, a hilarious laugh! Thank you for the great comments.

Thanks again!

Our screen saver flashes important pictures of our friends, family and memorable events. We see your dad's wonderful smile at least twice a day. Some are with Diana. All have smiles on both their faces. We laugh at the wonderful and funny adventures they shared together and allowed us to laugh at the stories they told about them. Your tribute was wonderful. Hug your loved ones, we only have them for a brief lifetime and then, in a twinkle of an eye...our memories must sustain us. Thank God you have lovely ones!

Good words, Vaughn. My dad has been gone for a while . . . I'm 64 . . . but there is still a hole in my heart where he belongs. Unfortunately, I think it will always be there . . . fortunately it isn't as painful as it was when it was new.

V-thanks so much for putting into words so many others' sentiments! Although I don't have a "milk dud" story, I have some of my own that will always be with me. Good thoughts, happy heart, chuckles, that's what my stories consist of! Missing him too.
